“Every puppy starts tuning the furniture, Michael. Eventually they learn. Next time I give you a deadline I expect you to meet it. Don’t test me again or the next time I leave a gift at your mom’s house, it’s not gonna be a coffee maker.”
-Carla
I hope you all tuned in some weeks back to Tricia’s second appearance as Carla on USA Network’s Burn Notice in episode 2.02 “Turn and Burn”. Unfortunately, this is the last we’ll be seeing of Carla until episode 2.09 “Good Soldier”, which is still pending an airdate. Here’s our recap of the episode, please highlight to read:
Michael and new handler Carla finally meet properly for the first time, and Michael is given a new task — to have a high-tech security batch forged by an expert on Carla’s behalf. At the same time, Sam drags Michael into another new job involving dangerous drug dealers while in the midst of it all Michael’s mother schedules a counseling meeting for the two due to “communication issues” between them. Eager to find out more about Carla, Michael enlists Fiona and Sam to tail and photograph her, but with little success as Carla always seems to be one step ahead of them all. In an attempt to find out more about Carla and the people behind her, Michael continues to probe her for information and pushing her limits, but at the end of the day is only left with one lead — Carla speaks Arabic with a Kurdish accent.
Personally, I loved this episode! Such priceless moments. Next up on Burn Notice is 2.06 “Bad Blood” on August 14, in which Tricia doesn’t make an appearance as far as I know. We thus have another few weeks ahead of us before we once again get to meet Carla.
Meanwhile, the gallery has been updated with 200+ medium-res screen captures of episode 2.02, in which Tricia once again delivers a fabulous performance. Don’t forget to check out our media archive for video clips!
