“I’m certainly not an intellectual, but I have some intellect.”
– Tricia Helfer

As promised, the gallery has been updated with two site-exclusive hi-res scans of Tricia Helfer’s sexy (if much too brief) feature in the April 2009 issue of US men’s magazine, Maxim. As you will soon find, the featured photos can not be found in our existing collection of outtakes from this shoot and are thus brand new. Check them out!

I wonder what this “passion project” of hers she speaks of is…

“Get used to it. I’m gonna go clean my weapons.”
- Alex Forrest

Hopefully, y’all were able to tune in last night to Tricia Helfer guest starring as Special Agent Alex Forrest on the hit NBC spy series, Chuck, starring Zachary Levi and Yvonne Strahovksi. Here’s our recap of episode 2.18 “Chuck Versus the Broken Heart”, please highlight to read:

Coming home from work, General Beckman informs Chuck he is too emotionally attached to his current handler Sarah Walker, and that they would have to do a “49-B”. This turns out to be an evaluation of Walker’s job performance, which is to be conducted by trigger-happy Special Agent Alexandra “Alex” Forrest. The team is then sent to Captain Awesome’s hospital, where Chuck is to identify Rahman Assad, a man associated with a well-known terrorist. Assad is a the hospital under another name to undergo surgery to get a pacemaker, and a tracking device planted on it is meant to lead the agency to the terrorist’s hideout. Posing as a doctor and nurse respectively, Chuck and Agent Forrest infiltrate the hospital, where Chuck is mistaken for Assad’s surgeon. However, to slip the bug into the pacemaker, Casey needs Awesome’s keycard for access, and a very reluctant Chuck agrees. At Awesome’s bachelor party, Agent Forrest surprises everyone, not the least Chuck and Casey, by showing up as a “hired” pole dancer. Rendering Awesome unconscious, Forrest snags his keycard and the bug is successfully planted. Walker is dismissed by General Beckman as a result of Forrest’s evaluation, but when the bug is discovered and Chuck is kidnapped, Walker turns out to be irreplaceable as Chuck’s protection, and Forrest is dismissed as Chuck’s new handler. Meanwhile, Captain Awesome comes close to discovering Chuck’s secret on several occasions, and finds his engagement in crisis when Ellie stumbles on some risqué photos of Awesome and Forrest, the “pole dancer”. Chuck and Walker track down Chuck’s father and go to meet him post-assignment.

There’s no denying Tricia’s onscreen turn as Alex Forrest was smokin’! I hope you enjoyed it. The gallery has been updated with 624 medium-res screen captures of Tricia’s performance, as well as 13 new medium- and hi-res promotional stills from the episode; check back with us soon for video clips and (hopefully) HD caps!

The gallery has just been updated with another great promotional still of Tricia as Special Agent Alex Forrest in the upcoming episode 2.18 “Chuck Versus the Broken Heart” of NBC’s hit spy series, Chuck. The episode airs tomorrow, March 30 2009 at 8/7c, and we’ll of course be sure to cover it!

The gallery has furthermore been updated with two new hi-res promotional stills of the Battlestar Galactica series finale, episode 4.20 “Daybreak: Part II”, in which Tricia stars as humanoid Cylon Number Six, as most of you will know. Finally, the medium-res caps of Tricia as Michael’s handler Carla in episode 2.16 “Lesser Evil” of USA Network’s spy series, Burn Notice, have been replaced with roughly the same amount of HD screen captures. If you suspect you’re still seeing the old thumbnails, try refreshing your browser for a fresh view. Enjoy!

I’m sure you’re all as excited as I am about Tricia Helfer’s upcoming, sexy guest appearance as Special Agent Alex Forrest on the hit NBC spy series, Chuck, starring Zachary Levi and Yvonne Strahovski. NBC recently released the promotional spot for episode 2.18 “Chuck Versus the Broken Heart”, which is particularly nice in the absence of available hi-res promotional stills. Check it out below or in HD on YouTube!

Speaking of the lack of promo stills, since we haven’t really had a real good look at Tricia’s guest stint on the show until now, the gallery has been updated with 16 medium-res screen captures of said HD trailer. The episode airs Monday, March 30 2009 on NBC — check your local listings for details. As always, we’ll be sure to cover it!

We have an update on Tricia Helfer’s appearance in the upcoming FOX pilot, Human Target. According to Mania.com, Tricia is not signed for an entire series (should there be one), but will only make a (however, significant) appearance in the pilot episode. From Mania.com:

Mania.com has learned that filming of the pilot episode of DC Comics’ Human Target is underway right now in Vancouver. Seen on the set is none other than Battlestar Galactica femme fatale Tricia Helfer. Our sources tell us that Helfer is not part of the series cast. Rather she’s appearing as a major player in the pilot’s storyline.

Don’t forget Tricia will be appearing on NBC’s Chuck this upcoming Monday! We’ll be posting a more proper reminder at a later date.

“The Cylons were created by man. They evolved. They rebelled. There are many copies. And they have a plan.”

Thankfully, Battlestar Galactica isn’t quite over for us yet! The Sci Fi Channel recently released the teaser trailer for the upcoming TV film, Battlestar Galactica: The Plan, in which Tricia Helfer stars as humanoid Cylon Number Six. According to the clip, we can expect to see the film premiere sometime this Fall. Check out the trailer below!

Is that Six copy Shelly Godfrey I spot in the trailer? Ooh! I always wondered what happened to her.

“I’m proud of you. For doing this. For being here when you could’ve just walked away. I don’t think I’ve ever said it before, but I always wanted to be proud of you. I guess I always felt that was the only thing missing.”
- Caprica Six

For those of us who have followed Battlestar Galactica from the very beginning, I’m sure I’m not alone in feeling a little speechless at the moment. I meant to begin this post as I always have, but I think it is needless to say everyone with the necessary means for it tuned in to last night’s mind-blowing two-hour series finale, 4.20 “Daybreak: Part II”. Here’s our recap of last night’s episode as well as that of last week’s episode, 4.19 “Daybreak: Part I”.

We’re kicking things off with 4.19 “Daybreak: Part I”. As always, in the interest of spoiler-phobes who have not yet seen the episode, the text is hidden from plain view, so please highlight to read:

The episode begins with several flashbacks to the lives of the people of the fleet back on Caprica, before the Cylon Holocaust. Caprica Six meets with Dr. Gaius Baltar for the first time, and the two make love in a limo when Baltar receives a disturbing call about his debilitated and angry father, who has stabbed and scared away a third nurse. Angered by his behavior, Baltar lashes out at his father in front of Six, after which he then orders her to leave. When Baltar returns home with another girl under his shoulder, he finds to his dismay that Six has broken into his house, where she announces to a stunned Baltar she has found his father a new home. Elsewhere, the morning following a drunken but happy evening, Laura Roslin is met at her doorstep by officials who regret to tell Roslin her entire family has been killed in a car accident. Following an emotional breakdown, Roslin declines the offer to join Mayor Adar’s presidential campaign and instead agrees to a blind date. Lee Adama and Kara Thrace meet for the first time when Kara and her boyfriend, Lee’s brother Zak Adama, organize a private dinner, where Lee is made fun of by being pinned as a “girlfriend-stealer”. Lee is then pictured drunk in his home. Commander Adama is reluctant to spend an hour of his time on an unnamed task. Samuel T. Anders is interviewed about is career as a Pyramid player, during which Anders discusses the beauty and mathematics of the “perfect pitch” being of greater interest to him than success or the game itself. Back on Galactica, present day, Virtual Six appears to Dr. Gaius Baltar and announces “the end times are appoaching”. Baltar’s plea to Lee Adama for a voice in the government falls on deaf ears. The Admiral announces Galactica’s mission to the Cylon homeworld, the Colony, to save Hera from the clutches of Cavil et al., and asks for volunteers, reminding everyone it is likely to be a “one way trip”. Among others, Kara “Starbuck” Thrace, President Laura Roslin, Lee Adama, Caprica Six, and the Final Five Cylons all join Adama on his mission, while Baltar does not.
