“Yeah, I paid them to say that. I’m paying a little bit under the table.”
- Tricia Helfer on her Chuck co-stars’ compliments to her

Entertainment Tonight Canada recently visited Tricia Helfer on the set of NBC’s spy series, Chuck, on which Tricia is set to guest star as Special Agent Alex Forrest in episode 2.18 of the series. Although the episode has no confirmed airdate, unfortunately, it’ll be a while until Tricia’s stint on the show debuts on TV, as e.g. episode 2.12 doesn’t air until February 2 2009. Chuck stars Zachary Levi, Adam Baldwin, Yvonne Strahovski and Sarah Lancaster. Levi and Tricia previously worked together on the 2007 thriller, Spiral. Check out ET Canada’s behind the scenes-video at Zachary-Levi.com!

Awesome project news, if this is confirmed! According to Entertainment Weekly, Tricia Helfer has been cast as Special Agent Alex Forrest for one episode of the hit NBC comedy series, Chuck, a guest role which will reunite her with her Spiral co-star Zachary Levi. That’s fantastic, Tricia! From EW.com:
Piping hot Battlestar Galactica toaster Tricia Helfer has been cast on Chuck as Special Agent Alex Forrest, a by-the-book ass-kicker and — here’s where things get a little frakked up — a potential replacement for Yvonne Strahovski’s Sarah.
Here’s the deal: According to my Chuck mole, General Beckman — who has been growing increasingly concerned about Chuck and Sarah’s intensifying bond — considers bringing in a new G-woman to work alongside Chuck. Enter Agent Forrest, who shows no fear, no remorse and, much to Agent Casey’s delight, is very easy on the eyes.
But Helfer isn’t moving in on Strahovski’s turf permanently, is she? Actually…no, she’s not. Helfer’s only booked for one episode (No. 18), and Strahovski’s got, well, an ironclad six-year contract.
Her character sounds a lot like Burn Notice’s Carla, no? As always, we’ll keep you posted if anything new regarding this turns up, and of course, we’ll do our best to provide you with coverage of the episode. Stay tuned!

“No, I’m a virgin! I’m an NGTV virgin!”
As earlier reported, Tricia was recently on No Good TV with Spiral co-stars Zachary Levi, Joel Moore (also director) and Jeremy Danial Boreing (also writer). The interview is now available at NGTV.com, and is definitely worth a watch. particularly as the clip contains a lot of new, unseen footage of Tricia as Sasha in the film. A word of warning, though; the clip does contain some mature language.
Naturally, I’ve made some screen captures of the lovely Tricia on the show, a preview of which you’ll find below. Enjoy!
Furthermore, I hear Tricia was scheduled to appear on VH1’s Best Week Ever last week – if anyone was able to save a clip of her appearance, please get in touch! Thank you.

IFMagazine recently sat down with Tricia’s Spiral co-star Zachary Levi to discuss the film. Read the interview in its entirety at IFMagazine.com – here’s what Levi had to say on working with Tricia:
F: What was it like working with Tricia Helfer from Battlestar Galactica?
LEVI: Tricia was a doll. She was ridiculously talented and ridiculously hot. She was so nice. She was only there one day and it was a great day. We sat around and talked about life and Battlestar Galactica and her husband and how great life was and it was a really fun time to be making the movie. That day with Tricia was a lot of fun. I hope that our paths cross again in the future and we get to work together again, because she really is a class act.
iF: Well you guys both work for NBC Universal so there’s a chance she could end up on Chuck after Battlestar winds down.
LEVI: Oh yeah! I could totally see her on Chuck. She could be Yvonne [Strahovski]’s sister!
Well said, Levi, we couldn’t agree more. The interview also implies that Tricia indeed has a very small supporting role in the film, seeing that she was on set only for one day. Read the full interview at IFMagazine.com!

We have an update on the upcoming theatrical release of Adam Green and Joel Moore’s horror thriller Spiral, in which Tricia stars in a supporting role as Sasha. The ‘Spiral’ MySpace Newsblog reports the film will get a limited theatrical release on February 1 2008 in U.S. theaters in Los Angeles, Portland and New York.
Unfortunately, there currently isn’t much information or media available on Tricia’s character. However, the film’s theatrical trailer available at MySpace contains a few shots of a lovely Tricia sporting a short crop, while the film’s official site features the film’s synopsis, cast and crew information and promotional stills and on set-media. Judging by the scarcity of available photos and trailer onscreen time and the fact that she wears the same outfit in all available media, however, I would say Tricia’s part in the film is rather small. The film’s DVD, to be released nationwide on February 19 2008, is already available for pre-order – check the film’s MySpace blog January 6th entry for a list of online retailers.
The film co-stars Zachary Levi, Joel Moore and Amber Tamblyn. Watch the film’s theatrical trailer on MySpaceTV or take advantage of our recently compiled collection of Tricia footage from Spiral at our gallery. ShockTillYouDrop.com reports Adam Green and Joel Moore’s drama thriller Spiral, in which Tricia stars in a supporting role as Sasha, will be getting a limited theatrical release before the film is made available on DVD. From ShockTillYouDrop.com:
Before it heads home on DVD, Adam Green and Joel Moore’s collaborative directorial effort Spiral is slipping into theaters for a limited run and we’ve got a first-look at the one-sheet.
In the film Moore plays a reclusive telemarketer whose dysfunctional friendship with his boss is alleviated when a whimsical co-worker enters his life. But as he begins to sketch his new friend’s portrait, disturbing feelings from his past threaten to lead him down a path of destruction. The Grudge 2’s Amber Tamblyn co-stars as the object of Moore’s eye. Look for Zachary Levi (Chuck) and Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica), too.
Currently, the theatrical rollout will include cities New York, Los Angeles and Portland. A one-sheet is now in our gallery via this link. Check back for more specific release details soon. Anchor Bay releases Spiral on DVD February 19th.
The site also featured the film’s first poster in high quality. Although it does not feature Tricia, I thought you might want to have a look at it nonetheless. Click here or the above preview to see it in full.
