Hooray for the return of regular updates! Not much has happened in the way of Tricia news of late, however, save for this: dryope @ livejournal has posted the first hi-res promotional stills of the upcoming first post-hiatus episode of Sci Fi’s critically acclaimed space drama Battlestar Galactica, on which Tricia portrays humanoid Cylon Number Six.

A whopping 15 promotional stills of the episode, 4.11 “Sometimes a Great Notion” have been released, which is a quite a surprise considering the regrettable scarcity of promo footage of earlier Season 4 episodes. Two hi-res promotional stills featuring Tricia have been added to the gallery; however, if you’re interested in the full batch of stills, you’ll want to head over to dryope’s livejournal.

If you’ve seen all of Season 4 thus far, you needn’t be afraid of being spoiled by Tricia’s Number Six promo stills. Looks like the episode will feature Tricia both as Caprica Six and Baltar’s “virtual” Six, and the miniseries red dress makes another reappearance! Yay! Don’t forget (as if you would), Battlestar Galactica returns to small screens on January 16 2009, naturally on the Sci Fi Channel. As always, we’ll be sure to cover it!

Apologies for the delay in updates, there simply hasn’t been much Tricia news of importance of late. However, last Wednesday Tricia was spotted at the Beverly Hills Mutt Club & Poochi Couture Howliday Jingle Bones Launch in Beverly Hills, CA, and was looking absolutely beautiful, as always. Also present was Tricia’s Battlestar Galactica co-star and fellow Cylon, Michael “Samuel T. Anders” Trucco. I’ve only been able to find two medium-res photos of Tricia at the event so far, but as always, I’ll keep looking. Enjoy!

Squee! Another Tricia appearance! Yesterday, a lovely, casually chic Tricia was spotted at the 6th Annual Acts of Love Celebration hosted by Autism Speaks in Westwood, California. • Autism Speaks Hosts 6th Annual Acts of Love Celebration on Nov 10

Holy moly! On November 5th, Tricia Helfer and Battlestar Galactica co-star and friend Katee Sackhoff were spotted at the Jewish Television Network’s Annual Vision Awards — and my word, did Tricia look absolutely stunning or what? This glamorous look definitely ranks among my absolute favorites. Only three 17 29 medium- and hi-res photos at the gallery so far, hopefully more footage from this event will surface online soon. • Jewish Television Network’s Annual Vision Awards on Nov 5

Just a friendly reminder to everyone that the 2008 (i.e. the 3rd Annual) Spike TV Scream Awards will be taping today, October 18 at The Greek Theater in Los Angeles, California. The taped event will premiere on Tuesday, October 21 at 9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT on Spike TV. Although we have no official confirmation on whether Tricia will be attending the event or not, her Scream Award nomination and the fact that she also showed up at the 2006 and 2007 Scream Awards does inspire hope. Stay tuned for updates!

Tricia, co-star Edward James Olmos and Battlestar Galactica are nominated for Best Actress (Science Fiction), Best Actor (Science Fiction) and Best TV Show respectively. Voting has unfortunately closed as of yesterday; fingers crossed the Battlestar Galactica team is among the winners!

At last! According to Buddy TV, Sci Fi Channel has finally confirmed an airdate for the remaining ten Season 4 episodes of their critically acclaimed drama series, Battlestar Galactica, on which Tricia stars as humanoid Cylon Number Six (as if you didn’t already know that!). The series’ Season 4.5, as it is referred to online, will premiere with episode 4.11 “Sometimes a Great Notion” on January 16 2009 at 10 PM — on Sci Fi, naturally. Awesome!

Great news, everyone! Tricia is featured in a two-page article in the Winter 2008 issue (V55) of U.S. fashion mag V Magazine! Scans will of course be added to the gallery as soon as possible, but for those interested in purchasing the issue themselves you’ll find a preview of one of the issue’s many grayscale covers to the right. Ahoy, Canadian fans! Tricia is currently featured in the Canadian green lifestyle publication Green Living Fall 2008 issue. The pictures featured in the magazine shouldn’t be new to the most devoted fans of Tricia; while the cover shot belongs to Tricia’s last year’s (gorgeous) Walk All Over Me Toronto International Film Festival portraits, the other photos are some of Tricia’s personal photos, as featured at TriciaGreen.com.
