Happy New Year, y’all! Hope you had a good one.

Since we don’t have a lot to report right now, here’s another batch of rare movie clips for you. The media archive has today been updated with 13 site-exclusive video clips of Tricia Helfer as Eva in the 2003 low-budget crime thriller White Rush, starring Judd Nelson, Louis Mandylor, Deborah Zoe and Charlie Schlatter. Not our favorite of Tricia’s films, but definitely a rare, interesting look at Tricia in her earlier acting days. Be sure check them all out!

All movie clips are in .MOV format, which is playable in e.g. VLC and QuickTime. Please remember you must be a registered and logged in media archive user to access our collection of video clips; unlogged users will not be able to view said material. Registration at our media archive is free and only takes a moment. Thank you.

We’re back! And we come bringing some new goodies as well. Today (and throughout this Fall), we’ve updated the gallery with 250+ new medium- and hi-res photos of Tricia Helfer at various public events 2005-2009 + replaced some 50-60 small images with better quality ones. Since this is quite a mix of new and updated photos/albums, we’ve listed all updated albums below using the following labeling:

(N)new additions; (R)better quality replacements; (NA)new album

If I could make a suggestion or two three, I’d particularly advise you to check out the fantastic hi-res additions we made to our 2009 Monte Carlo Television Festival Day 5-album, which now features some absolutely adorable(!) photos of Tricia and hubby Jonathan Marshall at the event. Also, the ‘Battlestar Galactica’ Mid-Season Finale Celebration-album from June 2008, featuring some really awesome footage of Tricia and BSG co-stars Katee Sackhoff and Mary McDonnell, has been updated with a ton of better quality replacements to those earlier minimal pics — highly recommend you have a look. Finally, there’s this, this and many other great new photos of the BSG team at last year’s Sci Fi Channel Upfront Party.

But really, those are just the highlights. There are a lot more gems among the rest of the new photos as well. Anyway, without further ado, enjoy!

Since we didn’t want to crowd our original Video Game Awards update with videos, here’s a separate update of online video clips of Tricia Helfer at last Saturday’s 2009 Spike TV Video Game Awards, from which we’ve also been uploading new pictures throughout the weekend. We’ll be updating this post with more clips from this event if and when we find them.

As most of you will know, Tricia was not only nominated for the VG award for Best Performance by a Human Female for her portrayal of Dare in the Halo 3: ODST video game, she also presented at the event a teaser trailer for the upcoming Halo: Reach VG. Unfortunately, Tricia lost the VG award to actress Megan Fox for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

First up, we have a red carpet video interview with Tricia from MaximoTV.com:

Here’s a video clip of Tricia onstage presenting the Halo: Reach preview from InsomniacGamerZ.net:

As reported earlier, Tricia Helfer appeared as planned at yesterday’s 2009 Spike TV Video Game Awards, held in Los Angeles, CA. As promised, here’s our coverage of her appearance at the event.

As per usual, Tricia looked absolutely stunning(!!) at the event, this time in a peach strapless mini and updo. As most of you will know, Tricia was up for the VG Award for Best Performance by a Human Female for her portrayal of Dare in the Halo 3: ODST video game. She furthermore presented on her own a Halo: Reach teaser trailer at the event. Unfortunately, the winning act in the Human Female category turned out to be Megan Fox in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Bummer.

Onto our gallery update. We’ve just uploaded to our gallery our first 57 medium- and hi-res photos of a lovely Tricia at the event. As always, we’ll be sure to add more medium- and hi-res pictures as well as video footage from the event as we find them. Be sure to check back with us for updates!

As most of you will surely remember, Tricia Helfer and fellow Battlestar Galactica Cylon Grace Park were featured on the cover and inside the November 2009 issue of Maxim (US). The feature coincided with the DVD release and TV premiere of Battlestar Galactica: The Plan, which was being promoted at the time.

Today, the gallery has been updated with nine site-exclusive scans of the issue’s digital special. While most of the pictures we’ve seen here before, the quality of these is superior to any earlier previews, and the magazine even snuck in two Tricia photos we hadn’t seen before. Be sure to check them all out!

“There’s been a vote. There’s going to be a truce. We just need to convey it to the humans. All of them.”
- Number Six

More updates on The Plan! Today, the gallery has been updated with 463 HD screen captures of Tricia Helfer as the various incarnations of Cylon Number Six in Battlestar Galactica: The Plan, the Edward James Olmos-directed TV film about the early days of the Colonies genocide, as told from the Cylon perspective. The Plan, as many of you will know, was released on DVD in late October this year.

Without giving away any major spoilers we can tell you that out of Tricia’s many roles as Six, Shelly Godfrey, a new, darker haired “Tough Six”, some nondescript blonde Sixes and another non-blonde, unnamed Six (who according to Battlestar Wiki is in fact Gina Inviere) all make an appearance. Caprica Six also briefly appears, although largely in old footage from the 2003 miniseries. Neither Dr. Gaius Baltar’s Virtual/Head Six nor Natalie are featured.

We will not be writing up a recap for The Plan as, unlike with Razor and the regular episodes, the plot is simply a bit too intricate to be put down in just a few words. We do hope you enjoy the new caps anyway (though please be advised they may contain significant spoilers), and hopefully, we’ll have some video clips for you soon as well. Do check back with us for those!
