Apologies for the delay in updates, there simply hasn’t been much Tricia news of importance of late. However, last Wednesday Tricia was spotted at the Beverly Hills Mutt Club & Poochi Couture Howliday Jingle Bones Launch in Beverly Hills, CA, and was looking absolutely beautiful, as always. Also present was Tricia’s Battlestar Galactica co-star and fellow Cylon, Michael “Samuel T. Anders” Trucco. I’ve only been able to find two medium-res photos of Tricia at the event so far, but as always, I’ll keep looking. Enjoy!

The 2008 Gemini Awards winners have been announced, and unfortunately Tricia is not among them. Tricia was nominated for Hottest Canadian Female Star among many other Canadian celebrities, and visitors were allowed to vote on their favorites on the Gemini Awards website (i.e. Viewers’ Choice Award). The award, however, went to MuchMusic VJ Leah Miller. Check out all the winners at GeminiAwards.ca!

The first photos from the event have already surfaced online, and unfortunately Tricia is not among those photographed, which leads us to assume she did not attend the event. What a shame!

Tricia never disappoints! Yesterday, a lovely Tricia Helfer showed up at the 2008 GQ Men of the Year Party in Los Angeles, CA. Photos are slowly beginning to trickle in, and the gallery has been updated accordingly with the first nine medium-res photos of Tricia at the event. As always, more will be added as I find them. Since news on Tricia are nowhere to be found tonight, I’ve decided to instead update the media archive with some new site-exclusive Tricia video clips that have been coming a while now. First up are three video clips of Tricia’s August 30 2008 appearance at NVIDIA’s Inaugural NVISION ‘08 Conference in San Jose, California; all clips are of the Battlestar Galactica-oriented keynote speech she held at the conference to a thrilled audience of tech enthusiasts.

The fourth clip of the day is of Tricia’s appearance on the E! talk show, Chelsea Lately on July 4 2008, which I have been trying to obtain for a while now. As always, Tricia looked simply stunning on the show! In addition to the video clip, the gallery has (at last!) been updated with some 280 medium-res screen captures of the interview, bringing the total count of photos up to 22,000! Enjoy!

Squee! Another Tricia appearance! Yesterday, a lovely, casually chic Tricia was spotted at the 6th Annual Acts of Love Celebration hosted by Autism Speaks in Westwood, California. Holy moly! On November 5th, Tricia Helfer and Battlestar Galactica co-star and friend Katee Sackhoff were spotted at the Jewish Television Network’s Annual Vision Awards — and my word, did Tricia look absolutely stunning or what? This glamorous look definitely ranks among my absolute favorites. Only three 17 29 medium- and hi-res photos at the gallery so far, hopefully more footage from this event will surface online soon. Unfortunately, despite our high hopes, Tricia was evidently not present at yesterday’s 2008 Spike TV Scream Awards in Los Angeles, California. The first photos of celebrities attending the event have already surfaced online, and unfortunately Tricia is not among them. Sorry, guys!

Furthermore, Tricia was nominated for the Best Actress (Science Fiction) Scream Award for her portrayal of humanoid Cylon Number Six on Sci Fi’s Battlestar Galactica. The award, however, went to actress-model Milla Jovovich for Resident Evil: Extinction. Battlestar Galactica was regrettably unsuccessful in the other two categories the series was nominated in as well; while the award for Best TV Show went to Showtime’s Dexter, the Best Actor (Science Fiction) award for which Edward James “Admiral Adama” Olmos was nominated went to Iron Man-star Robert Downey Jr.

Just a friendly reminder to everyone that the 2008 (i.e. the 3rd Annual) Spike TV Scream Awards will be taping today, October 18 at The Greek Theater in Los Angeles, California. The taped event will premiere on Tuesday, October 21 at 9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT on Spike TV. Although we have no official confirmation on whether Tricia will be attending the event or not, her Scream Award nomination and the fact that she also showed up at the 2006 and 2007 Scream Awards does inspire hope. Stay tuned for updates!

Tricia, co-star Edward James Olmos and Battlestar Galactica are nominated for Best Actress (Science Fiction), Best Actor (Science Fiction) and Best TV Show respectively. Voting has unfortunately closed as of yesterday; fingers crossed the Battlestar Galactica team is among the winners!
