Hopefully everyone with the means was able to tune in last night to Spike TV’s GameTrailers TV 2009 VGA-E3 First-Look Special, in which “Sci-Fi goddess” Tricia Helfer makes an appearance alongside hosts Geoff Keighley and Rose McGowan. In case you missed it, though, you can check out the full episode in HD over at GameTrailers.com (Tricia’s segment comes in Chapter 3 or at about 22:56 into the 41 minute episode). Screen captures of her appearance have also been made available at our gallery!

During her E3 pre-show appearance, Tricia furthermore exclusively announced her involvement in the upcoming Halo 3: ODST video game as the character Dare! That’s another big video game franchise she has under her belt; congrats, Tricia! She furthermore stated she “hopes” she will be in attendance at the December 12 2009 Spike Video Game Awards, to be held in Los Angeles, CA. The event is still a while off and schedules change, but her potential appearance is worth keeping in mind nonetheless.

According to StageSelect.com and Kotaku Australia, yesterday, Tricia Helfer joined Rose McGowan and others for a special live taping of GameTrailers TV’s E3 2009-themed special. From StageSelect.com:

The E3 invasion begins on Thursday May 28 at 11:00 PM ET/PT, when Spike TV premieres “GameTrailers TV Presents: The 2009 VGAs-E3 First Look Special” from the Los Angeles Convention Center, the site of E3 2009. Hosts Geoff Keighley and actress Rose McGowan (TERMINATOR SALVATION: THE VIDEOGAME) are joined by actress Tricia Helfer, GameTrailers.com’s Amanda MacKay and Daniel Kayser, rabid video game fans, special celebrity guests and big-name game developers for world premieres of more than 15 of the most anticipated E3 games. In addition, Spike will reveal the first details about their “2009 Video Game Awards,” the biggest celebration of gaming on the planet.

Some months back, we reported of Tricia’s involvement as the Black Cat in Kids’ WB’s animated The Spectacular Spider-Man series. According to the Internet Movie Database, Tricia has once again lent her voice to the series in the Spider-Man: Web of Shadows video game. The video game is currently in post-production and will be released in the U.S. on October 21 2008.

Spider-Man: Web of Shadows marks Tricia’s third video game appearance. She was previously featured as General Kilian Qatar in Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars (2007) and again in Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath (2008).
