Canadian actress and former model Tricia Helfer is one of Hollywood's rising acting talents, best known for her portrayal of humanoid Cylon Number Six on Syfy's critically acclaimed Battlestar Galactica. More recently, Helfer has starred in e.g. Andrew Paquin’s Open House and can currently be seen as Alex Clark on NBC's The Firm. Helfer is also an active benefactor of animal and environmental causes.

Since we expect things to be a bit quiet again for a little while, here’s a little something to keep you interested — another batch of very rare, site-exclusive photos of Tricia Helfer on the runway ca. 1996-1997 as well as a couple of rare outtakes from an unknown photoshoot from the 1990s and another from 2010. You’ll also notice the photoshoots have today been reorganized into categories by year. Some of today’s new runway images are courtesy of TopModelsOfTheWorld.com and ultra-glam fashion & couture @ Flickr. Hope you enjoy!
Please Note: Our gallery of runway photos is now available to registered users only. Unlogged users will no longer be able to access most of the images in this section of our gallery. Registration at our gallery is 100% free and only takes a moment. The rest of our gallery remains, as always, open for everyone to browse. :)
While we wait for more news on Tricia, we thought we’d update the gallery with some pictures we’ve been sitting on. Today we’ve updated the gallery with MQ but rare promotional stills from Battlestar Galactica Season 2 as well as some very hard-to-find images of Tricia on the runway ca. 1995-1998. As you may have noticed, we have in fact been steadily uploading pics from both Tricia’s modeling years and BSG throughout the fall.)
Speaking of updates, we’ve also updated the site with a filmography page for Mistletoe Over Manhattan. Don’t forget the film premieres November 6th on Hallmark!
We have a small but delicious vintage treat for you today, as we’ve updated the gallery with six rare hi-res scans of Tricia Helfer in the October 1995 issue of French L’Officiel. Check out also our page about Tricia’s Modeling Career which has been updated with new information. :) Enjoy!
Hey guys! As you can see, we’re back after a couple of days’ downtime. After three great years with Our Fandom, we’ve now moved to a new home at Flaunt.nu. Many thanks to both for hosting us then and now respectively! :) Hopefully, you’ll find everything on the site is still intact.
And then for the obvious — we have a new design up. It’s a bit on the larger side than usual, but we really wanted to try something different and eye-catching. In case you’re wondering, the main picture originates from Tricia’s 2008 feature in L.A. Confidential magazine, while the stunning original background texture is from Fractured-Simplicity.net. We’re still ironing out a few kinks in the new look but it should work well enough in most browsers. Hope you like it!
Finally, a tiny bit of Tricia news. In case you’re wondering what she’s been doing for the past few days, since wrapping up Mistletoe Over Manhattan some two weeks ago, Tricia’s started working on her voice role as EDI in the upcoming Mass Effect 3 video game. A couple of images from the recording studio have been uploaded to the gallery.
Anyway, that’s all for this update. Happy browsing!
Hi guys! As you may have noticed, we’re currently experiencing some issues on the site. We are aware of them. We’re currently moving the site to another server and working on fixing all the boos. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Welcome back, you guys, to the new Tricia Helfer Fan! We are celebrating our 3rd anniversary this January, so what better way to start the new year than with a “new” site! :)
As you can see, we have a new look up which we really hope you like! We’ve had so many dark looks in the past that we really wanted to have something light next. We’re still trying to iron out a couple of kinks in it, mainly regarding the top banner ad, so if you only see a blank space or strange colors, it’s just the ad that’s not working properly at the moment. Other than that, this layout has been tested for basic functionality in Safari 5 (Mac), Firefox 3 (Mac / Windows) and Internet Explorer 7 (Windows).
We’ve also nearly completed our content revision. Because of an incident in my private life, I haven’t been able to quite finish the proofreading yet, but all the major sections should nevertheless be up-to-date, while the remaining proofreading will be completed in due course. We’ve also made some structural changes, most noticeably to our news index, where we e.g. now use tags. The gallery has also gone through some minor changes; the thumbnails are now slightly larger than before (so be sure to refresh your browser if you’re seeing distorted ones), and the script has been upgraded, which has also brought about a couple of minor changes. Finally, we were at last able to compile a complete overview of Tricia Helfer and Katee Sackhoff’s last October’s “LA La Ride”. Please be mindful, however, that the page contains a lot of embedded video content and may therefore take a while to load.
You guys, it’s that time of the year again. I’m heading out of town for the holidays, and therefore Tricia Helfer Fan will likely not be updated 18.-26.12.2010. The gallery and media archive will remain open for the time being, however the main site will likely not be updated with any news, nor will I be able to read or respond to any emails. If something big happens, we’ll try to post at least something either here or on Twitter, but we probably won’t be able to. Sorry!
When we come back, though, we’ll finally finish the big content revision we’ve been working on this fall + put up a shiny new layout. We’ll also finally put up that page about Tricia and Katee’s Acting Outlaws “LA La Ride” last October which we were unable to finish before the holidays despite our best efforts. Anyway, check back with us soon for the updates, and Merry Christmas, y’all!
A couple of sitely news and updates today. First, we wanted to bring to your attention this amazing drawingHeath sent us a while ago, of Tricia Helfer as Battlestar Galactica‘s Number Six. Many thanks to Heath for sharing his talent with us! We’re of course always looking for Tricia-related fan art to post on the site, so if you have anything you’d like to contribute, drawings, paintings, digital art, livejournal icons, whatnot, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Thank you!
In other site updates, we just wanted to let you know that we’re currently revising the contents of all Tricia Helfer Fan; adding and updating information, proofreading for spelling mistakes, broken links and factual errors, and making some minor structural changes to the site. Since taking the entire site offline would be rather boring both for you guys and us, we’ve decided to do as much of this as possible online, which means we now have up a mix of “old” and updated pages. All info pages now have a “last updated-date,” however, so you can tell when a page has last been changed.
… And we’re back! Some will surely have wondered at the lack of updates here for the past seven days — the long and short of it is that I, personally, has a serious connection malfunction at home which has taken this many days and about as many angry phone calls to my ISP to fix. Needless to say, we have a lot of week-old news to cover in the next few days; we’re sorry we weren’t able to update about them at our usual speed, but we hope you understand it was out of our hands. So let’s just get to the updates, shall we?
Beginning today with Tricia Helfer’s September 11 appearance at the Fur Ball at the Skirball 3rd Annual Kitten Rescue Fundraiser at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, California. Hosted by The Office-star Jenna Fischer, Tricia was in attendance at the event as scheduled, and was joined there by husband Jonathan Marshall, Battlestar Galactica co-star and best friend Katee Sackhoff, 24-star Mark Derwin, as well as four lucky fans who were the highest bidders at Tricia’s Angel Table eBay ticket auctions. All proceeds from the event and Tricia’s ticket auctions went to the Los Angeles-based animal shelter, Kitten Rescue. First 40 photos of Tricia (& co.) at the event at our gallery!

Apologies for the recent delay in updates, guys! There simply hasn’t been a lot to update with lately at the same time as I’m personally currently out of town and mostly without internet. Unless things pick up soon, the slowness will unfortunately continue throughout this Spring, but of course whenever any newsworthy developments happen we’ll be sure to report them. Bear with us!
Onto today’s big news, though. Access Hollywood has a really great video clip of Tricia Helfer on the set of TNT’s undercover cop drama, Dark Blue. As many of you will know, Tricia was recently signed for the show and will presumably appear in the series’ upcoming second season. The aforementioned clip not only serves as a great first look at Tricia on the show (filming a “casino-episode” as she was at the time), but also offers a couple of new details on her involvement on the show, as follows:
• Tricia will be playing “Alice Alex Rice”, an FBI (agent, we presume) who “without giving too much away ends up staying around and working with the team”
• The interview hints at a possible romance between “Alex” and Dylan McDermott’s character, Carter Shaw
• Although we’ve as of yet had no official word specifically confirming this, judging from the interview it is likely that Tricia’s “Alex” will be at least a recurring guest role, possibly a regular!
The video can’t be embedded here at this point, so be sure to head over to AccessHollywood.com to watch it!
According to Wikipedia, Dark Blue is currently set to return for a second season this upcoming August (although there have been reports of a June Season 2 premiere, also — hopefully, there will be official word on an exact date soon).
Today’s update I’m afraid has nothing to do with Tricia Helfer, but rather a new site I have recently launched. Please excuse me while I indulge myself for just a moment.
I’d just like to point you in the direction of David Wenham News, a brand new news- and mediablog dedicated to the extraordinary Australian actor David Wenham, perhaps best known internationally for his portrayal of Faramir in the critically acclaimed Lord of the Rings-sequels, The Two Towers and The Return of the King. More recently, David has appeared in films such as 300, Public Enemies and Pope Joan. David Wenham News is a humble tribute to the actor and his career.
That’s it for our off-topic update. Regular Tricia updates will now resume!
