While there isn’t any fresh news on Tricia to be found at present, here’s… er, old news. In January 2009(?), Tricia Helfer made her second, Battlestar Galactica-oriented appearance on NGTV’s Up Close talk show with Carrie Keagan. Unfortunately, we missed this one at the time, but better late than never, eh? Check out the two-parter the first two clips of the four-parter(?) as embedded below, or over at NGTV.com. Part 2 is particularly worth a look — man, how easily she transforms onscreen! If anyone is able to find parts 3 and 4, please contact us! Thank you. Screen captures coming up!
It’s out! Don’t forget to get your own copy of the Season 2 DVD set of USA Network’s hit spy series, Burn Notice, in which Tricia Helfer has a recurring role as Michael’s mysterious new handler, Carla. The Region 1/North American DVD set was released today, and is available for purchase for roughly $32 at e.g. Amazon.com.
For more information on the DVD set contents, please visit e.g. NiceGirlsTV.com. As of yet, there is no information available on a possible future Region 2 release.
Some miscellaneous TV project-related Tricia Helfer photos for you today. The gallery has just been updated with another great promotional still of Tricia as Special Agent Alex Forrest in the upcoming episode 2.18 “Chuck Versus the Broken Heart” of NBC’s hit spy series, Chuck. The episode airs tomorrow, March 30 2009 at 8/7c, and we’ll of course be sure to cover it!
The gallery has furthermore been updated with two new hi-res promotional stills of the Battlestar Galactica series finale, episode 4.20 “Daybreak: Part II”, in which Tricia stars as humanoid Cylon Number Six, as most of you will know. Finally, the medium-res caps of Tricia as Michael’s handler Carla in episode 2.16 “Lesser Evil” of USA Network’s spy series, Burn Notice, have been replaced with roughly the same amount of HD screen captures. If you suspect you’re still seeing the old thumbnails, try refreshing your browser for a fresh view. Enjoy!
With Tricia currently filming pilot season projects in Vancouver, I expect news on her to slow down for the time being. Thus, to keep your interests going, we’ll be showering you with regular media updates. Coming up in the way of new media are HD screen captures of the last two episodes of Battlestar Galactica, screen captures of Battlestar Galactica: The Last Frakkin’ Special featuring some great behind the scenes-footage of Tricia as Six, caps of Tricia’s tomorrow’s Chuck guest stint, as well as video clips of all aforementioned episodes + new scans and some very rare Canada’s Next Top Model media gems. Please check back with us for updates!

“You know, I was once like you, Michael. Lived for the job. Eventually, I discovered the job doesn’t love you back.”
- Carla
Hopefully everyone was able to tune in last night to the exciting Season 2 finale of USA Network’s hit spy series, Burn Notice, starring Jeffrey Donovan, Gabrielle Anwar, Bruce Campbell and Sharon Gless. Last night’s episode, 2.16 “Lesser Evil” marked Tricia Helfer’s last guest appearance on the show as Michael’s mysterious handler Carla, so today’s Burn Notice recap is also our last of the series’ episodes, at least until further notice. Aww! As always, please highlight to read:
Imprisoned by Michael, Victor reveals the chilling truth behind why he spoiled Carla’s operation and went after Michael; a former CIA agent, Victor’s family was killed the same day Victor was burned and recruited by the organization behind Carla. Eager for revenge, Victor tracked down who killed his family, only to find that it was the very organization he was now working for. Victor gains Michael’s trust and instead of his enemy, becomes his client, and the two make a (however temporary) escape from Carla’s clutches. In fear of retribution from Carla, Michael tries to evacuate his mother from Miami, but things don’t go quite as planned. Michael and Victor obtain an incriminating file on Carla’s past, which they plan to use against her. As Victor and Michael are driven into a corner, however, a mortified and reluctant Michael is forced to kill the already fatally wounded Victor to save himself as well as Victor from an otherwise certain torturous interrogation and death, while Carla is shot down by Fiona in the midst of the action, possibly fatally. Michael then meets with management for the first time, but declines their offer to work for them, much to their dismay.
Whoa, what an episode! It’s really a shame, although I think the episode did leave an opening for Carla’s return, I doubt we’ll be seeing more of her in future episodes, esp. since according to Tricia herself she is not signed for any further appearances on the show. Finally, we got to meet management, though; about time, that was! By the way, can I just say that is the coolest car ever that Michael has? Anyway, the gallery has been updated with 215 medium-res screen captures of Tricia’s appearance on the show; as always, check back with us for HD replacement captures and video clips.
Just a friendly reminder to everyone that USA Network’s hit spy series Burn Notice concludes its excellent second season today, March 5 2009 with episode 2.16 “Lesser Evil” at 10/9c on USA. Don’t forget this is Tricia Helfer’s last appearance on the show as Michael mysterious handler Carla, so be sure to tune in! As always, we’ll do our best to cover Tricia’s involvement in the episode. Stay tuned!
As most of you will know, the very successful second season of USA Network’s hit spy series, Burn Notice, is unfortunately drawing to a close, and with it also Tricia Helfer’s guest stint on the show as Michael’s mysterious handler Carla. Last month, Tricia confirmed in a conference call with the media that she is not signed for any Season 3 episodes, and thus tomorrow’s season finale will at least for the time being mark her last appearance on the show.
As we await what is sure to be a killer finale, we have some Tricia Helfer-related information and media from tomorrow’s episode to share with you. Kicking things off with some tidbits regarding the episode, we have a brief overview of what’s going to happen, courtesy of USA Network:
In the explosive season finale, Michael learns some surprising facts about Victor’s past, and is forced to take on Carla in a final showdown.
Sounds promising, no? We furthermore have two new video clips from tomorrow’s episode; an episode trailer and a clip from the episode itself, both of which feature Tricia as Carla. Both are available for viewing below and are definitely worth a look! Finally, don’t forget to tune in to the exciting Season 2 finale of Burn Notice, episode 2.16 “Lesser Evil”, which airs tomorrow, March 5 2009 at 10/9c on USA Network! As always, we’ll be sure to cover Tricia’s involvement in the episode. Stay tuned!
I hope everyone had a chance to tune in to last Thursday’s episode of USA Network’s spy series, Burn Notice, episode 2.15 “Sins of Omission” in which Tricia Helfer guest stars as Carla, Michael’s mysterious handler. Here’s our episode recap — please note we will not be recapping the earlier February episodes in which Tricia was not involved. Sorry! As always, please highlight to read:
In order to gain more time as well as Carla’s confidence, Michael reveals some additional information on the mysterious sniper they’re both after, without revealing that it is in fact Victor. Michael and Victor then indulge in a cat-and-mouse game, which eventually ends victoriously for Michael, thanks to a public bathroom and a tazer disguised as a camera. Meanwhile, Michael’s ex-fiancée Samantha suddenly shows up at Michael’s doorstep, much to the surprise and dismay of everyone, not the least Fiona and Michael’s mother Madeline, who until now had no idea of this prior engagement of his. Samantha, an expert thief, asks for Michael’s help when she reveals to him her son is held hostage by another spy.
Tricia Helfer was once again fantastic as Carla; I love the little nuances in her expressions! What a shame she was only in the episode for a few minutes, as witnessed by the 80+ medium-res screen captures of her appearance at our gallery. Here’s to hoping the season finale doesn’t disappoint in this respect! As always, HD replacement captures and video clips will be uploaded at the earliest available time.
Don’t forget to tune in to the Burn Notice Season 2 finale, episode 2.16 “Lesser Evil”, airing this upcoming Thursday, March 5 2009 on USA Network. Don’t forget this will be Tricia’s last appearance as Carla, as she is not signed for any Season 3 episodes, so enjoy it while it lasts! As always, check back with us for coverage.
Just a quick heads-up to everyone: USA Network’s witty spy series Burn Notice returns today, February 26 2009 with episode 2.15 Sins of Omission”, in which Tricia Helfer reprises the role of Carla, Michael’s mysterious handler. Please bear in mind that this is Tricia’s second-to-last appearance as Carla on the show, as Tricia recently confirmed she is not signed for any Season 3 episodes, so enjoy it while it lasts. As always, stay tuned to us for coverage!
According to an inteview with Tricia Helfer up at TheTVAddict.com, Tricia will not be reprising the role of Carla, Michael’s mysterious handler, in the upcoming Season 3 of USA Network’s hit series, Burn Notice. Although she was careful not to give away any details regarding next week’s season finale, Tricia says she is not signed to do Season 3 episodes. “I’m not on board for next season. As I like to say, I was the baddie of the second season, so yes, my last two episodes are this week and the finale, March 5th.” What a shame!
In some less depressing, Chuck-related news, although Tricia says she is at least for the time beingnot signed to reprise the role of Special Agent Alex Forrest in any upcoming episodes of the hit NBC series, she says she would not object to doing so, nor does she rule out such a possibility. “My character (Agent Alex Forrest) is alive at the end of the episode and she could always come back, but I don’t expect to come back, certainly not on a regular basis, but I’d certainly sign to coming on again and shaking things up. I think she may have a little thing for Casey at the end of the episode, so if she comes back, it would be fun to come back and explore that because Casey doesn’t get very much action.” Tricia’s guest stint on the show airs March 30 2009.
In the interview, Tricia furthermore dishes on the final episodes of Battlestar Galactica and her first pilot season in five years. Read it in its entirety at TheTVAddict.com!
