As some will recall, some year ago Tricia Helfer filmed the FOX drama pilot Inseparable as a result of her April 2008 talent holding deal with the network. The pilot, however, was unfortunately not picked up for FOX’s Fall/Winter 2009-10 lineup.

Although we are likely not to hear anything more from this pilot on an official level, we’ve today been able to update the gallery with 10 rare, site-exclusive photos of Tricia shooting the pilot episode in September 2008 in Vancouver, Canada. This is likely to be the first and last look we’ll ever get at Tricia as Rae Wicks (or Mason Wicks, according to some reports), so we do hope you enjoy this special treat from us.

As reported yesterday, IGN.com recently published an interview with Tricia Helfer, in which she discusses some of her recent television projects. In addition to being an interesting article, the interview also contains some small new details regarding some of her upcoming projects besides her Warehouse 13-appearance, i.e. Syfy’s upcoming TV movie Battlestar Galactica: The Plan and the FOX pilots Human Target and Inseparable respectively. Those of you didn’t have a look at the article, here’s the news in a nutshell, from IGN:

Battlestar Galactica: The Plan: According to Tricia, Syfy’s The Plan, airing November 2009, will be a look at what happened more than anything from the respective perspectives of Cylons Brother Cavil (Dean Stockwell) and Samuel T. Anders (Michael Trucco), and that Six in the film is a smaller character by comparison:

It’s really from Brother Cavil and Sam Anders’ [perspective]. Their storylines are the lead storylines in The Plan. [...] So I’m kind of a smaller character in The Plan, but it was definitely fun to get to go back and do some of those characters – and also bring a new character to life. In the script she was called Tough Six. She’s a brunette one and definitely a heavy drinker and is a harder edged Six than we’ve seen, so she was really fun to play. It was kind of like, “Damn, why couldn’t she have been in the series?! That would have been fun!” [Laughs]

Inseparable: Tricia confirms the FOX pilot Inseparable, in which she was set to star as psychologist Rae Wicks and was filmed last year, isn’t happening:

I was actually shooting a pilot for FOX called Inseparable, that didn’t end up going anywhere, at the same time.

This doesn’t come as much of a surprise, considering the show is not on the FOX Fall/Winter 2009-10 schedule. We’ve now removed this project from our list of upcoming work for Tricia. What a shame, though.

Human Target: We finally have a name for Tricia’s guest role in the pilot episode of FOX’s Human Target series: Stephanie. As most of you will know, the series premieres January 17 2010.

According to an inteview with Tricia Helfer up at TheTVAddict.com, Tricia will not be reprising the role of Carla, Michael’s mysterious handler, in the upcoming Season 3 of USA Network’s hit series, Burn Notice. Although she was careful not to give away any details regarding next week’s season finale, Tricia says she is not signed to do Season 3 episodes. “I’m not on board for next season. As I like to say, I was the baddie of the second season, so yes, my last two episodes are this week and the finale, March 5th.” What a shame!

In some less depressing, Chuck-related news, although Tricia says she is at least for the time being not signed to reprise the role of Special Agent Alex Forrest in any upcoming episodes of the hit NBC series, she says she would not object to doing so, nor does she rule out such a possibility. “My character (Agent Alex Forrest) is alive at the end of the episode and she could always come back, but I don’t expect to come back, certainly not on a regular basis, but I’d certainly sign to coming on again and shaking things up. I think she may have a little thing for Casey at the end of the episode, so if she comes back, it would be fun to come back and explore that because Casey doesn’t get very much action.” Tricia’s guest stint on the show airs March 30 2009.

In the interview, Tricia furthermore dishes on the final episodes of Battlestar Galactica and her first pilot season in five years. Read it in its entirety at TheTVAddict.com!

• On August 26, Tricia flew to Miami, FL to film another episode of USA Network’s spy series Burn Notice. On the show, Tricia plays Carla, Michael Westen’s attractive and mysterious new handler. Tricia promises Carla will get to do some “fun stuff” in coming episodes.

• Next week, once filming wraps up for Tricia in Miami, she will fly to Vancouver, Canada to shoot the upcoming Fox drama pilot Inseparable, in which she portrays cop psychologist Mason Wicks.

• Tricia also hinted of her possible involvement in the upcoming Battlestar Galactica TV movie we reported earlier. According to her, filming should begin this September.

There’s been a lot of press coverage on Tricia and Burn Notice of late — and there’s more. The Chicago Tribune recently sat down with Tricia to discuss her involvement in Burn Notice as well as the 4th and final season of Battlestar Galactica. Although there’s been a lot of press coverage on all this throughout the year, this interview is a touch more insightful and interesting than the average article; I’d have a look if I were you.

Here are some news tidbits on the aforementioned series, as revealed by the Chicago Tribune interview:

• Filming of Battlestar Galactica will in all likelihood wrap up this month, either on Jul 7, 10 or 12 (exact date varies with source), after which Tricia will return to Miami to shoot more Season 2 material for Burn Notice until October ‘08. While she keeps all Battlestar Galactica series’ finale secrets to herself, Tricia promises Red Eye Chicago the concluding episode will answer a lot questions.

• Tricia will appear as Carla in the first two episodes of Burn Notice, after which Carla again returns in the series’ mid-season finale, episode 9. Carla will also be featured in some of the post-hiatus episodes, but which these episodes are is yet to be revealed.

• Tricia confirms she has signed on to do Fox’s Inseparable pilot, for which filming takes place in August ‘08.

Some of you will surely remember how some months back we reported that Tricia had signed a talent holding deal with Fox. Well, it would seem the deal is about to produce some results, as according to The Hollywood Reporter Tricia will co-star in Fox’s drama pilot Inseparable. From The Hollywood Reporter:

Tricia Helfer has been tapped to co-star on Fox’s drama pilot Inseparable — . Inseparable, from ABC Studios and writer/exec producer Shaun Cassidy, is a modern-day Jekyll and Hyde tale about Justin/Clyde (Lloyd Owen), a partially paralyzed forensic psychiatrist with a split personality whose alter ego is a charismatic criminal.

Helfer (Battlestar Galactica) will play Mason Wicks, a psychiatrist who evaluates suspects for the police department. The casting stems from the talent holding deal Helfer inked with Fox in April. Also cast in the pilot is Morgan Turner as Justin’s daughter Emily.

That’s great news! Congratulations on the pilot, Tricia!
