We’ve finally managed to find the first couple of photos of Tricia Helfer at the Motor City Comic Con Day 2 and Day 3 in Novi, Michigan on the weekend of May 14-15. Apparently, Tricia was under contract not to pose for photographs at the event, which is why pics from it are few and far between, but DrHawkeye @ Flickr nevertheless managed to snap one with her in the con hall — the picture and a couple of others from the con weekend in the gallery.

In other event news, the gallery has also been recently updated with a pic of Tricia at the Best Friends Animal Society Pet Super Adoption event last Saturday, two photos of Tricia and her 17th Precinct and The Whole Truth co-star Eamonn Walker at the 2011 Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach in April and another two pics, these from Tricia’s “Ask Tricia” Q&A Taping Session last month. ‘The Whole Truth’ episode 1.06 recap

Hope y’all were able to tune in last night to Tricia Helfer guest starring as Bitsie Katz on ABC’s legal drama The Whole Truth, starring Rob Morrow and Maura Tierney. As always, here’s our coverage of Tricia’s appearance on the show, beginning with a brief recap of the episode, 1.06 “Liars”:

When a dentist is found dead in his office, Jimmy Brogan (Morrow) is hired to represent the prime suspect, his wife, with whom the man was going through a difficult divorce. At the preliminary hearing, however, things take a whole new turn when a certain Bitsie Katz appears, claiming to be the man’s fiancée and causing a scene, and before long the entire scope of his (many) affairs is revealed. Although the evidence against the wife is compelling, at the same time as DA Peale (Tierney) vehemently seeks to indict her, certain obscurities in the case make Brogan doubt her guilt, and when everyone’s a liar the killer could be anyone.

In the episode, Tricia Helfer has a small but fun role as the ditzy Bitsie, and it was really great to see her do something entirely different for a change, and do a terrific job of it, too. The show wasn’t at all bad either, especially Maura Tierney as Peale, and the concept of the show is just great imo. Shame it appears The Whole Truth is irrevocably canceled; networks seem to just not want to give new shows a proper chance anymore.

Just a quick heads-up that according to TV Guide’s episode guide, Tricia Helfer’s The Whole Truth episode “Liars” has been moved from tonight to Wednesday, December 1. The move is likely the result of ABC having recently cancelled the legal drama in the middle of its debut season. All the more reason to be thankful that the episode’s been rescheduled!

Last week, we reported that ABC has cancelled its new legal drama The Whole Truth, starring Rob Morrow and Maura Tierney, but that according to the information at the time the network was prepared to air all the remaining completed Season 1 episodes as scheduled. Unfortunately, however, according to this ABC press release, tomorrow’s episode “Liars”, in which Tricia Helfer was set to guest star, has been pre-empted. Exclusive Access with Brad Paisley, LeAnn Rimes, Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler and Much More in Second Annual Primetime Special

Robin Roberts once again puts on her cowboy boots for an hour-long special, “In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: All Access Nashville,” which will give viewers an all-access pass into the homes and private lives of country music’s biggest stars. Roberts will get up close and personal with such country superstars as Brad Paisley, LeAnn Rimes and Carrie Underwood. The special also takes viewers inside the amazing homes of some of country music’s biggest stars, including an exclusive tour of Kellie Pickler’s new Nashville home. “In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: All Access Nashville” will air WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 3 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Note: This program replaces “THE WHOLE TRUTH: Liars.”

Although the show’s website still says “Liars” will be on November 3 i.e. tomorrow, The Whole Truth does not appear on ABC’s TV schedule for tomorrow, so unfortunately it looks like we won’t be seeing Tricia on the show tomorrow after all. Though if you want to make sure for yourself, do tune in on ABC tomorrow night at 10/9c, the time slot for The Whole Truth.

If “Liars” is not on tomorrow, we don’t know when or if it’ll next be scheduled to air.

According to several newsblogs and websites, ABC has officially cancelled their new legal drama The Whole Truth, starring Rob Morrow and Maura Tierney. The network promises however to air all the remaining completed episodes of Season 1, which would include Tricia Helfer’s next week’s guest episode “Liars.” More via Zap2It:

The Whole Truth will not be getting a whole season. On the heels of ABC’s announcement of several full-season pick-ups, the series’ executive producer, KristieAnne Reed, tweeted the discouraging news on Oct. 25.

“ABC gave us the word,” she writes. “We will only make 13 episodes of #thewholetruth.”

The network had been reportedly on the fence about the low-rated series since its debut, but when Zap2it caught up with star Rob Morrow, he said ABC seemed optimistic.

And they still are — a little. ABC will continue to air The Whole Truth in its Wednesday time slot until it completes its 13-episode run. The network agreed to let the show continue production through to December to finish up the order.

According to the Futon Critic and TV Guide TV listings, Tricia Helfer will be appearing in the Wednesday, November 3-episode (“Liars”) of ABC’s new legal drama The Whole Truth, starring Rob Morrow and Maura Tierney. Tricia stars in the episode as Bitsie Katz, whom Tricia herself recently described as a “trophy wife who’s a little bit off her rocker. She has a loud personality and wears very short skirts.”

“Liars” — Nothing is as it seems when a dentist is murdered in his own chair – and his “Stepford wife” is accused of the crime. After Jimmy and Kathryn learn that the dentist was doing more than just fixing teeth, they become entangled in lies of their own with Kathryn’s mother and Jimmy’s ex-wife. Parminder Nagra (ER) and Tricia Helfer (Dark Blue) guest star as women caught in the randy dentist’s web of deceit, on The Whole Truth, WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 3 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

As we suspected, the project Tricia Helfer was talking about on Twitter a little while ago is indeed ABC’s new legal drama The Whole Truth. Tricia recently confirmed her guest appearance on the show in an interview with TV Fanatic (which she gave before filming her stint):

I’m also about to start working on The Whole Truth on ABC, which is another Jerry Bruckheimer show. My character is a trophy wife who’s a little bit off her rocker. She has a loud personality and wears very short skirts.

Looks like Tricia may have landed another TV role! According to Tricia Helfer’s official Twitter account @trutriciahelfer, Tricia recently wrapped filming something called “The Whole Truth” after some five days of shooting.

Although there hasn’t as of yet been an official announcement regarding her involvement in anything by that name, from Tricia’s tweeted details we suspect this is likely a guest role on the brand new ABC court drama The Whole Truth, starring Rob Morrow (Numb3rs) and Maura Tierney (ER). Hopefully, there’ll be some definitive word on this soon.

Finally got the new twitter! Gotta put that on hold tho cause I’m busy studying for filming The Whole Truth tomorrow!! (Oct 7)

So, I get to The Whole Truth set early this AM and half the crew is from Dark Blue. Lots of hugs and kisses, yay! (Oct 7)

The debut season of The Whole Truth is currently airing on ABC, with at least six confirmed episodes. Should the show prove a success, more episodes will likely follow. Which episode Tricia might be appearing in we don’t know (seeing as her involvement hasn’t even been confirmed yet), however with her scenes having already been filmed they will definitely have been for an upcoming Season 1 episode.

Please bear in mind that until an official source confirms “The Whole Truth” Tricia mentions in her tweets is in fact the ABC series, this should be regarded as but speculation, however as you can tell from her tweets, it all certainly points toward a brief stint in a TV production. As always, we’ll keep you posted if and when additional details or a confirmation is published.
