Check out this short clip of Tricia Helfer doing press for Disney’s TRON: Uprising series on Saturday from The Insider, in which she talks about a little surprise in the upcoming Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome series she “maybe a little something” had to do with..!

It’s currently unclear if, when or how Syfy will be moving forward with Blood & Chrome, the network having previously announced it will not be picking it up for television, but is eyeing the possibility of turning it into a web series.

Disney XD has put online a 30-minute prologue to TRON: Uprising titled “Beck’s Beginning”. Check it out below or on YouTube:

TRON: Uprising stars Elijah Wood as Beck, Bruce Boxleitner as Tron, Mandy Moore as Mara, Emmanuelle Chriqui as Paige, Nate Corddry as Zed, Lance Henriksen as General Tesler, Reginald VelJohnson as Able, Paul Reubens as Pavel and of course Tricia Helfer as the voice of The Grid. Check out these photos of Tricia Helfer attending the TRON: Uprising Press Junket in Glendale, California yesterday. Tricia provides the voice of The Grid in the series opposite Elijah Wood, Bruce Boxleitner, Mandy Moore, Nate Corddry, Lance Henriksen, Reginald VelJohnson and Paul Reubens. The show is set to premiere June 7 on Disney XD following the May release of the 30-minute TRON: Uprising: Beck’s Beginning prelude on the internet and on Disney XD.

Just a quick heads-up that Tricia Helfer has confirmed via her official Twitter account @trutriciahelfer that she will both have a (guest?) role in the animated series TRON: Uprising (set to premiere in 2012) and reprise Sarah Kerrigan in the upcoming StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm video game.
