Canadian actress and former model Tricia Helfer is one of Hollywood's rising acting talents, best known for her portrayal of humanoid Cylon Number Six on Syfy's critically acclaimed Battlestar Galactica. More recently, Helfer has starred in e.g. Andrew Paquin’s Open House and can currently be seen as Alex Clark on NBC's The Firm. Helfer is also an active benefactor of animal and environmental causes.

Don’t forget Tricia Helfer will be in Atlanta, Georgia next week for the 2011 Dragon*Con!
Fans at Dragon*Con, running September 2-5, are in for a real treat this year’s as Battlestar Galactica‘s Aaron Douglas, Richard Hatch, Michael Hogan, Edward James Olmos, Mary McDonnell, Tahmoh Penikett and Mark A. Sheppard are also all confirmed guests at the event. Also going are Adam Baldwin, Julie Benz and Eddie McClintock, whom you’ll recall from Tricia’s guest appearances on Chuck, No Ordinary Family and Warehouse 13 respectively. Details and tix at www.dragoncon.org.
Although Tricia is currently in Toronto, Canada filming The Firm, the Dragon*Con website has nothing on any cancellation of her appearance, so presumably she’s still planning to attend despite her present commitment in Toronto.
As promised, today the site has been updated with HD replacement captures as well eight site-exclusivevideo clips of Tricia Helfer guest starring as FBI Agent Bonnie Belski on the brand new Syfy series, Warehouse 13. Tricia’s guest starring episode, 1.02 “Resonance” aired July 14 2009. Enjoy the new media!
“Now that I’m in your face, you ask nicely.”
- Bonnie Belski
As most of you should already know, yesterday, July 15 2009 Tricia Helfer guest starred as FBI Agent Bonnie Belski on the brand new Syfy series, Warehouse 13. Here’s our recap of episode 1.02 “Resonance” — as always, please highlight to read:
With three inexplicable bank robberies in Chicago, Pete Lattimer and Myka Bering travel to location, where they together with the Chicago FBI and Agent Bonnie Belski investigate how the crimes are being committed without even the sight of a gun. During the robberies, the perpetrators seem to be using a device to sound a mysterious melody to “tranquilize” the people at the bank, which seems to cause in them memory loss and a strong emotional response. When one of the robbers is caught by the FBI, his two companions use the melody to free him, and Bering, equipped with earplugs, is the only one unaffected. The attack leads Bering and Lattimer on the trail of the perps, but when the trio is finally caught and revealed the two realize the robberies are not what they seem, and are faced with a difficult decision regarding their fate.
As Bonnie Belski, Tricia Helfer delivered an excellent, strong performance, despite her role in the episode being regrettably limited onscreen time-wise, and aside from Burn Notice this is by far my favorite of Tricia’s TV guest appearances in yet. The gallery’s been updated with 293 medium-res screen captures of Tricia on the show — as always, we’ll do our best to obtain HD caps alongside video clips of her appearance as soon as possible. Stay tuned!
With Tricia Helfer’s guest starring episode on the brand new Syfy series Warehouse 13 airing today, IGN.com have published an interview with Tricia as well as a first clip of her on the show on their website. From IGN.com:
IGN: Though your character on Warehouse 13 isn’t nearly as hard as the one on Chuck.
Helfer: No. The thing with the Chuck character was she was supposed to be completely by the book – much more like Casey. She was so much like Casey, that Casey was attracted to her… until he realized she was more by the book than him and kind of made him realize that sometimes the way Sarah does things may be better. But with Bonnie Belski, she’s by the book, but she’s not as hard edged.
IGN: How did the guest role on Warehouse 13 come about?
Helfer: Obviously I’ve been on SCI FI Channel for the past five years and it’s a new show of theirs. It was just wanting to support the network and support a new show that they’re doing. I hadn’t seen it, obviously, because it’s a brand new show, so you’re kind of going off of your trust in their judgment. It’s a fun show. When I was actually up there shooting, I watched the pilot, which was a rough cut. I think they’ve got something really fun there, and it’s kind of got that Moonlighting vibe. The two lead actors do the “I love you but I hate you” thing very well. They’ve got a really good chemistry. And they were lovely to work with. Eddie is a real sweetheart and Joanne was great to work with as well.

According to the Warehouse 13website, the series premieres July 7 2009 on Sci Fi, however Tricia’s official site reports Tricia will be guest starring in the episode airing July 14 2009 — that, according to IMDb, would be episode 1.02 “Resonance”. We have some additional information on Tricia Helfer’s guest stint as FBI agent Bonnie Belski on the upcoming Sci Fi series, Warehouse 13. Although I don’t know at this point whether Belski is a pilot episode character or if she will be introduced in a later episode, the two-hour pilot nevertheless airs July 7 2009 on Sci Fi. If anyone is able to confirm which episode(s) Tricia will be guest starring in, please contact us! Thank you.
Meanwhile, Zap2It has some additional information on Tricia’s character, Bonnie Belski, and reports Tricia’s Battlestar Galactica co-stars Michael Hogan and Mark Sheppard will also be guesting on the show. From Zap2It:
Tricia Helfer – As FBI Agent Bonnie Belski, she’ll clash with Pete and Myka initially, but reluctantly turn to them after a third inexplicable bank takeover.
Some will recall how Tricia Helfer alongside several other cast and crew members of Battlestar Galactica showed up for the series presentation and panel together with the Caprica prequel series team at PaleyFest09 on April 20 2009. The people at IGN have posted a couple of video interviews with Tricia at the event, in which she discusses her involvement in the upcoming Battlestar Galactica: The Plan TV movie and Warehouse 13 Sci Fi series respectively.
In this first clip about Battlestar Galactica: The Plan, Tricia reveals the upcoming TV movie will among other things reveal whatever happened to Six copy Shelly Godfrey (of Season 1 fame), who mysteriously disappeared off the Galactica once revealed as a Cylon infiltrator, as well as introduce another, nameless Six copy, a darker haired “Tough Six” (as evidently named in the script). You can catch a glimpse of them both in the Sci Fi teaser trailer for the movie.
Big project news, y’all! Tricia Helfer’s official site has been updated with news about two new TV projects for Tricia — a guest role on the Sci Fi Channel’s upcoming series, Warehouse 13, as well as a new FOX pilot, Human Target. Some people be busy these days!
Kicking things off with Warehouse 13, according to the source, Tricia’s guest role is that of FBI agent Bonnie Belski, a role for which she has just finished filming. We have no additional information as to which particular episode (or ‘sodes) Tricia will be guest starring in, however the series itself premieres on July 18 2009 on Sci Fi. Check back with us for additional information and updates! Series synopsis courtesy of the Internet Movie Database:
After saving the life of an international diplomat in Washington D.C., a pair of U.S Secret Service agents are whisked away to a covert location in South Dakota that houses supernatural objects that the U.S. Government has collected over the centuries. Their new assignment: retrieve some of the missing objects and investigate reports of new ones.
In pilot season news, Tricia has signed on for the FOX drama pilot Human Target, for which filming is currently ongoing in Vancouver. Some of you will recall how Tricia signed a talent holding deal with Fox in April 2008, shortly after which her involvement in the FOX pilotInseparable was announced (of which there has been little to report since). At this point we have no additional information on Tricia’s contribution to the pilot, however we’ll of course be sure to keep you posted on any changes! Plot summary courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter:
Human Target, from WBTV, DC Comics and McG’s Wonderland, is based on the DC Comics title and centers on Christopher Chance (Mark Valley), a mysterious security freelancer who assumes the identities of those in danger, becoming the “human target” for his clients.
