With the January 8 premiere of The Firm inching ever closer, the NBC website for the show has been updated with some great new promotional stuff.

First, we have a small but stunning new photo of Tricia Helfer as Alex Clark on the show. The character description via NBC:

Alex is Kinross & Clark’s managing partner, a dynamic, supremely confident woman with a manic charisma and a hint of something wild in her eyes. Alex seems thrilled to have Mitch on board as the firm’s newest partner – but like her associate, Andrew, she may have a hidden agenda underneath her welcoming attitude.

The website has also been updated with several new sneak peek- and preview clips from the show. None of the clips feature more than a couple of (new) looks at Tricia’s Alex, but they’re worth a watch all the same (Battlestar Galactica will be especially pleased to find series regular and Tricia’s BSG co-star Callum Keith Rennie prominently featured). Another two new pictures from Tricia from the set of Scent of the Missing in Hamilton today, one with co-star Eric Winter (The Mentalist, Brothers & Sisters, Days of Our Lives). See them in our gallery here.

It also looks like some of the characters have gotten new names. Most notably, Tricia’s own character Susannah is now “Ally” and her canine companion, previously called Puzzle, is now “Rocket”. Via Twitter:

Check out this terrific video we found earlier today in which Tricia Helfer and Katee Sackhoff talk about what sounds like a plan for their next Acting Outlaws motorcycle ride – a ride across the U.S. tracing the Van Buren sisters to benefit military charities.

Tricia to voice Enchantress in ‘Ultimate Spider-Man’?

According to the Internet Movie Database, Tricia Helfer will be guest-starring as the voice of Enchantress in an episode of the upcoming Ultimate Spider-Man animated series.

Although Tricia has yet to acknowledge her involvement in the series, if true, Tricia’s Enchantress will make an appearance in the 17th episode of the debut season, set to premiere on Disney XD in early 2012. This would also mark Tricia’s third Spider-Man project; she previously voiced the role of Black Cat in three episodes of the Spectacular Spider-Man series as well as the Spider-Man: Web of Shadows video game in 2008-2009.

Check out this first picture of Tricia Helfer with fellow Sci-Fi siren Summer Glau (Firefly, Serenity, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) on the set of the TNT pilot Scent of the Missing yesterday, as tweeted by Tricia herself. Tricia and Summer are currently filming the pilot in Hammond, Louisiana.

Update Dec 3: Check out this first picture from Tricia of her with her canine co-star Jackson on the set of the TNT pilot on Thursday. According to the Arts Council of New Orleans, Tricia and co. will be filming the pilot in Hammond, Louisiana from December 1-16.
