In this clip, Tricia talks about comparisons between the U.S. and Canada, what’s next for Acting Outlaws, auditioning for the role of Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones (which she unfortunately lost to 300-actress Lena Headey) and her love for the book series. First appearance of 2011! Check out these first three photos of Tricia Helfer yesterday at the 2nd Annual Winter FluffBall to benefit Best Friends Animal Society in Los Angeles, California. Tricia looked absolutely stunning at the event in a white two-piece dress. As always, we’ll keep an eye out for for more pics.

Tricia was also at a private Battlestar Galactica reunion at Mary “President Roslin” McDonnell’s yesterday, where she was joined by among other co-stars Katee Sackhoff, Aaron Douglas, Edward James Olmos, McDonnell, Tahmoh Penikett, Michael Hogan, Michael Trucco, Rekha Sharma, Grace Park, Luciana Carro, Jamie Bamber, Kerry Norton, series creator Ronald D. Moore, director Michael Rymer and composer Bear McCreary. Hopefully, someone there will post pics soon!

As promised, we’ve updated the media archive with new clips today. Check out 11 new site-exclusive video clips of Tricia Helfer reprising the role of humanoid Cylon Number Six in Battlestar Galactica: The Plan, the Edward James Olmos-directed second BSG TV movie that was released on Region 1/North American DVD and Blu-Ray last October and premiered on TV January 10 2010 (via Syfy, of course). Among other Six copies, Shelly Godfrey and a new “Tough Six” make prominent appearances in The Plan.

Personally, although I’m never one to say no to new Battlestar Galactica, The Plan just didn’t live up to my expectations. To me, the mystery that revolved certain characters, events and phenomena was such a pivotal part of the entire series that I thought the entire approach to the BSG universe in The Plan, to explain all the previously unexplained, wasn’t really what I would’ve liked to see. Although Tricia as Six was an enormous pleasure to watch as always, her contribution to The Plan as a whole isn’t considerable (though she does have a truly great scene as Six copy Gina, with Grace Park’s Boomer).

As most of you will surely remember, Tricia Helfer and fellow Battlestar Galactica Cylon Grace Park were featured on the cover and inside the November 2009 issue of Maxim (US). The feature coincided with the DVD release and TV premiere of Battlestar Galactica: The Plan, which was being promoted at the time.

Today, the gallery has been updated with nine site-exclusive scans of the issue’s digital special. While most of the pictures we’ve seen here before, the quality of these is superior to any earlier previews, and the magazine even snuck in two Tricia photos we hadn’t seen before. Be sure to check them all out!

More updates on The Plan! Today, the gallery has been updated with 463 HD screen captures of Tricia Helfer as the various incarnations of Cylon Number Six in Battlestar Galactica: The Plan, the Edward James Olmos-directed TV film about the early days of the Colonies genocide, as told from the Cylon perspective. The Plan, as many of you will know, was released on DVD in late October this year.

Without giving away any major spoilers we can tell you that out of Tricia’s many roles as Six, Shelly Godfrey, a new, darker haired “Tough Six”, some nondescript blonde Sixes and another non-blonde, unnamed Six (who according to Battlestar Wiki is in fact Gina Inviere) all make an appearance. Caprica Six also briefly appears, although largely in old footage from the 2003 miniseries. Neither Dr. Gaius Baltar’s Virtual/Head Six nor Natalie are featured.

We will not be writing up a recap for The Plan as, unlike with Razor and the regular episodes, the plot is simply a bit too intricate to be put down in just a few words. We do hope you enjoy the new caps anyway (though please be advised they may contain significant spoilers), and hopefully, we’ll have some video clips for you soon as well. Tricia for PETA’s “Save the Seals” campaign

Each year, tens of thousands of seals, many of whom are still babies, are massacred. It’s time to demand a permanent end to Canada’s crue seal slaughter.

Some of you will recall Tricia Helfer’s last year’s PETA “Be an Angel for Animals” campaign, in which she posed with one of her many cats, Mr. Nix. This year, Tricia has joined the likes of Perez Hilton, Grace Park, Jennie Garth, Kelly Osbourne and Jorja Fox in the PETA “Save the Seals” campaign, advocating ending the killing of seals for fur in Canada. From PETA.org:

The gorgeous Canadian actor and model, best known for playing the deadly and delicious Number Six on the Sci Fi Channel hit show Battlestar Galactica, spoke out against the seal slaughter during her last PETA photo shoot, so we knew she’d be a perfect addition to PETA’s “Save the Seals” ad series.

Tricia joins an ever-growing list of compassionate celebrities who are calling for an end to Canada’s annual slaughter, in which tens of thousands of seals are shot or bludgeoned to death for their fur.
