Just another little media treat today! We’ve just updated the media archive with five video clips of Tricia Helfer as Leila Cole in The Green Chain (2007), a faux documentary about tree logging in Canada. Personally, it’s not one of my favorite movies, but it has a pretty unique documentary/monologue-type concept which must’ve been a challenge for the actors, Tricia included, so it’s still worth a look. Hope you enjoy!

As you will probably have noticed, news on Tricia hasn’t been particularly abundant lately, so we’ve instead updated site with another rare little media treat today.

In 2006, Tricia Helfer appeared as Ally Simon in writer-director Timothy A. Chey low-budget drama The Genius Club, from which we’ve today uploaded a rare site-exclusive batch of both medium-res screen captures and video clips. Personally, it’s not one of my favorite Tricia movies to be honest, but it’s still an interesting look at some of her first ever feature film roles. Hope you enjoy!

As promised, we’ve updated the media archive with new clips today. Check out 11 new site-exclusive video clips of Tricia Helfer reprising the role of humanoid Cylon Number Six in Battlestar Galactica: The Plan, the Edward James Olmos-directed second BSG TV movie that was released on Region 1/North American DVD and Blu-Ray last October and premiered on TV January 10 2010 (via Syfy, of course). Among other Six copies, Shelly Godfrey and a new “Tough Six” make prominent appearances in The Plan.

Personally, although I’m never one to say no to new Battlestar Galactica, The Plan just didn’t live up to my expectations. To me, the mystery that revolved certain characters, events and phenomena was such a pivotal part of the entire series that I thought the entire approach to the BSG universe in The Plan, to explain all the previously unexplained, wasn’t really what I would’ve liked to see. Although Tricia as Six was an enormous pleasure to watch as always, her contribution to The Plan as a whole isn’t considerable (though she does have a truly great scene as Six copy Gina, with Grace Park’s Boomer).

Another movie clip update today, albeit a small one this time. The media archive has today been updated with one site-exclusive video clip of Tricia Helfer’s brief appearance as Sasha in the Adam Green and Joel Moore-directed drama thriller Spiral (2007), also starring Amber Tamblyn, Zachary Levi and Joel Moore. Tricia makes a small but memorable appearance in one of the film’s scenes with Moore and Levi, the latter with whom Tricia also co-starred in her Chuck guest episode last March. Check it out!

More movie clips! Today, we’ve updated our media archive with 15 site-exclusive video clips of Tricia Helfer as Stephanie Jacobs in Memory (aka. Mem-o-re), the Bennett Davlin-directed horror thriller co-starring Billy Zane, Dennis Hopper and Ann-Margret.

While the movie itself isn’t one of our favorites, Tricia delivers an excellent and genuine performance which is definitely worth a watch. Please note that the video lags slightly behind the audio in these clips; unfortunately, this couldn’t be mended in the conversion process. Anyway, do check out the clips when you can!

Surprise! With news on Tricia having slowed down for the time being, we’ll instead be updating the site with new material in the coming weeks, material that we confess we’ve been sitting on for some time now.

Today, we have prepared a big media update for you on Walk All Over Me, the 2007 Canadian indie crime dramedy from writer-director Robert Cuffley starring Tricia Helfer as Celene opposite Leelee Sobieski, Michael Adamthwaite and Lothaire Bluteau.
