With the January 8 premiere of The Firm inching ever closer, the NBC website for the show has been updated with some great new promotional stuff.

First, we have a small but stunning new photo of Tricia Helfer as Alex Clark on the show. The character description via NBC:

Alex is Kinross & Clark’s managing partner, a dynamic, supremely confident woman with a manic charisma and a hint of something wild in her eyes. Alex seems thrilled to have Mitch on board as the firm’s newest partner – but like her associate, Andrew, she may have a hidden agenda underneath her welcoming attitude.

The website has also been updated with several new sneak peek- and preview clips from the show. None of the clips feature more than a couple of (new) looks at Tricia’s Alex, but they’re worth a watch all the same (Battlestar Galactica will be especially pleased to find series regular and Tricia’s BSG co-star Callum Keith Rennie prominently featured). A press release from ABC regarding Tricia Helfer’s upcoming guest episode on No Ordinary Family, starring Michael Chiklis and Julie Benz. The press release not only confirms Tricia’s guest episode on the show as episode 1.17 “No Ordinary Love” slated for March 1, but also gives her character a name, Sophie. The episode will also (hopefully) unite Tricia with her Battlestar Galactica co-star Lucy Lawless (i.e. BSG‘s D’Anna or “Number Three”), also guesting on the show in a five-episode arc — definitely a must-see!

No Ordinary Family — “No Ordinary Love”
The mysterious Mrs. X (Lucy Lawless, Xena: Warrior Princess, Battlestar Galactica) tasks the sexy –- and dangerous –- Sophie (Battlestar Galactica’s Tricia Helfer) to cause Jim and George to fall under her spell and make them do whatever she wants them to – which could place Jim’s marriage in jeopardy. Meanwhile, Stephanie must decide whether or not to inject a patient with the trilsettum serum and risk turning him into a super in order to retain Dr. King’s trust, and Daphne’s boyfriend, Chris, begins to have suspicions about the Powell family’s abilities, on No Ordinary Family, TUESDAY, MARCH 1 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET).
